Short Question Answer (लघु उत्तरीय प्रश्न)

Ans 2:- The productivity and general health of the world’s forest are threatened by such things as the greenhouse effect, ozone layer depletion, airborne pollution, and acid rain.

Ans 3:- The eventual consequences of deforestation may be damage due to quality of life on earth reduction in a number of life forms that share the planet with us and thus hampering the ability of the biosphere to sustain life.

Ans 5:- When Narcissus saw Echo, he pushed her away and ran, saying that he would die before he would have her near him.

Ans 6:- The wealth which is referred to here by the poet means wealth of joy and happiness; which actually comes from happy and fond memories when the poet saw a host of golden daffodils by the side of the lake beneath the trees.

Ans 8:- The daffodils are personified as a crowd of people. This personification will continue throughout the poem. Lines 6: Daffodils cannot actually “dance,” so Wordsworth is ascribing to them an action that is associated with people.

Ans 7:- Inward eye refers to the depth of our hearts where we often see memories or visualize something closing our other two eyes. The scene of the daffodils flash in the inward eye of the poet. This memory again gives joy to the poet and he recovers from bad mood.

Ans 10:- adults express pain mostly by moaning and groaning. Children use penetrating sounds of restlessness for pain expression.

Long Question Answer (दीर्घ उत्तरीय प्रश्न)

Ans 11:- The human population has always been in problem, for example, every day some people die while others are born. A few hundred years ago, however, the situation began to change, especially in the industrialized world. With advances in nutrition, sanitation and health, people live longer and more of them reach reproductive age. So the human population has been rapidly going up.

Ans 12:- The daffodils flowers can shift a person’s gloomy condition into an optimistic one. The study shows how William Wordsworth’s poem Daffodils reflects his love of nature and how daffodils flowers were able to change his depressing condition into an optimistic one.

Ans 13:- Yes, it is true that a lot of people are insensitive to the agonies of trees. Instead they cut them ruthlessly. Maybe it is because they are unable to evaluate the importance of trees in human’s life. By doing this they are harming themselves
